Financial Support to
European or Associated Nation Participants



Financial support have been obtained from the European Community to promote participation of young European Community (EC) or Associated Nation (AN) researchers to the workshop.

European Community sponsorship will allow to contribute to the expenses related to participation of young researchers, who are nationals of a Member State or an Associated State, and active inside a member State or Associated State at the time of the event.

Financial support may only be available to those EC or AN participants who will present a contributed poster at the workshop and satify the Age and Nationality criteria listed below.

Age criterion: Young Researchers are researchers up to an age limit of 35 years at the time of the event.

Nationality criterion: As of October 2001, Associated States are the following:
Bulgaria, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.

If you satisfy these criteria and wish to apply for a grant specify this in the Registration Form under the "Remarks" entry.

Grants will mainly cover participants' expenses at the workshop (housing and meals) and only in special cases, and on the basis of funds availability, will contribute to travel expenses.

Applicants will be notified in early December 2002 concerning the amount of financial support awarded.
